For life
HOP Bedfordshire will set a new benchmark for studio facilities in the UK. The state-of-the-art campus for film and television production will promote wellbeing and welfare. A masterplan like this has not been seen before in the UK, designing from a blank sheet of paper to create the ‘ideal’ film campus footprint. By creating a new standard for health and wellness at a film studio we ensure that crews and site staff will look forward to their time here, and feel a sense of being at home whilst on site.
Nearly 70% of the UK’s available studio space falls under the category of ‘alternative’ or ‘repurposed’ space, meaning that it is not designed to meet production needs. We offer spacious production offices twinned with an array of services which are incorporated to make every working day an experience to savour. The UK’s studios have historically been created to get the job done - HOP bases facilities around the everyday needs of the end user on site to support mental, physical, social and environmental wellbeing.
Your Home of Production
Experienced crews and skilled production trades are a rare and prized asset in a booming sector. Our belief is that, through provision of premium facilities to match advanced production areas, we are able to elevate the experience of those working at HOP.
The success of any project hinges on productivity, which in turn is driven by the happiness of those working across the site. To find out more about sector-redefining range of facilities, follow the link below.

The Site, Facilities and Services
By Producers for Producers
Raising Films’ ‘Making It Possible’ report showed that 79% of film workers felt having children had negatively impacted their careers. HOP aims to provide childcare services tailored to the needs of those working within the industry.
In order to encourage a sense of being a true Home, we include plans for high-spec, on-site acommodation. The experience of a production becomes one where comfort and practicality are core features of the HOP experience.
Work, family, and social commitments make it difficult to incorporate a regular fitness routine. HOP aims to provide opportunities for physical activity on site, helping to reduce stress and increase health and energy.
Our central boulevard creates a bustling and attractive hub, created to allow busy people the opportunity to enjoy their downtime. It is the spine of the site, interconnecting all main areas and stitching together our on-site community.
The average person spends around 85,000 hours at work in their lifetime, whilst production crews often commit long hours through a production schedule. The environment at HOP is created with promotion of a happy, inclusive workplace at its core.
We do not consider HOP as a functional space - Rather a place to be enjoyed, and which represents an experience for those on site. Screening rooms and events throughout the year are two small parts of this.
